How does the QR code work with this event?
QR codes are a type of two-dimensional barcode that can be read using smartphones and dedicated QR reading devices. With our event the QR code can be considered like a digital scratch card that can only be read in your showroom, thus helping to drive greater event response and attendance rates.
The QR code links to a dedicated site that details the offer for your customer during the event. How this offer is made up is controlled by your Sales Manager based on the information gained in your normal sales process. As such it is perfect for boosting sales of add-on products while retaining control of the profitability of each sale.
On presenting the customer with the offer behind their code, they are asked to either accept the deal, or decline the deal and put the money back into the pot for other customers. As such it is a unique tool for your sales team to use to close the deal.
All of this combines to deliver exceptional conversion rates from mailers – appointments – sales.
How has the event changed in response to the COVID pandemic?
The premise behind the use of the QR code remains the same. However, we have made some notable changes to the event delivery to ensure customers can be dealt with in accordance with social distancing rules:
Rather than running the event over 4 or 5 days, the event will work equally well being run over an extended length of time.
Customers will be given a choice of how they want to receive their event appointment, via our unique screen share system, over the phone, or in-dealership (with the reassurance of how you the dealer will ensure their safety).
Mailers will be adapted to include messages about the options available to those who do not wish to attend the showroom.
Dealership training can be delivered remotely, or in the dealership (space permitting) should this be preferred.

How often can we run this event?
The QR Code Event allows dealers to benefit from the success of the event more than once per year. ‘The QR Code Event’ name simply represents the key USP of our event but is not customer facing branding. Most often the event materials refer to the Exclusive Event, however, it has also been used at Christmas with the mailer taking the form of a Christmas card, or as a Black Friday Event.
